In some workplaces, a full First Aider or Emergency First Aider may not be required. In these cases, employers must still appoint someone to take charge of First Aid arrangements — ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained, and that emergency services are contacted when needed.
Our Appointed Person (First Aid) course provides clear guidance on these responsibilities, helping you meet legal requirements and maintain a safe working environment.

Our courses are taught by an instructor who has both experience in training and emergency care, enabling them to bring a real-world perspective to the course as well as being able to answer any questions students may have about their training.
Our training focuses upon Rapid Cycle Deliberate Practice (RCDP) a learning technique where learners practice a skill repeatedly in short cycles, receiving immediate feedback and making instant corrections before repeating the scenario again — all within the same session. The benefits of this learning include quicker skill improvement; confidence gained from being competent, reducing the likelihood of acquiring bad habits, which is essential in learning lifesaving skills; the technique also encourages learners to engage in teamwork activities during training.
There is no formal assessment; all learners will receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion.
Group Size
Up to 16 participants per session.
Age Requirements
Learners must be 16 years or older.
Who Is This Course For?
This short course is ideal for low-risk workplaces or as an introduction to First Aid responsibilities, giving staff the confidence to act effectively in the event of an emergency.
